Cleburne Golf Links
Hugging the shores of scenic Lake Pat Cleburne is the picturesque Cleburne Golf Links. This municipally owned, full service golf course was completely redone in 2010 by well known golf course architect John Colligan and is conveniently located 30 minutes south of downtown Fort Worth and one hour southwest of Dallas in Cleburne, Texas. Boasting impressive lake views from all eighteen holes, par for the course is 72, with four par fives, four par threes and ten par fours.
The course offers true links golf, with amenities including a driving range and practice area, putting course and full service pro shop, all complemented by a beautiful new club house with restaurant and large outdoor deck, which also looks out over the 1,500 acre lake.
The course was designed for all skill levels in mind with five sets of tees on each hole. More experienced players can test their skill from the 7,100 yard championship tees while forward tees provide yardages at 6,560 yards, 6,200 yards, 5,660 yards and 2,600 yards for juniors and beginners.
Cleburne Golf Links has rolling terrain and lake breezes with plenty of water and native habitat in play but the expansive “Tiff-Sport” fairways and smooth rolling “Miniverde” greens provide for a golfer friendly experience.
